If you are anything like me, when I was pregnant with my first little one, the things I thought about were... What will I name my baby? Where will I put the crib? What kind of parent will I be? What should I pack in my overnight bag for the hospital? I never really thought about how fast my newborn baby would grow after he was born. I took every step one by one and enjoyed the milestones and wrote everything down I could, so I could remember... I forgot to think about relaxing every day at least once and appreciating the beauty of my baby's first year. He grew so much each day! I didn't start thinking about taking professional photos of him until he was already sitting up on his own. I look back on those days when he was so tiny fitting in pretty much two hands. I wish I had gotten professional newborn photos done to remember those tiny hands, feet, nose, etc. If only I could tell my former self to get them done! I can picture myself in the future, looking through a beautiful memory book thinking about all of those precious moments of that newborn stage where everything was fleeting and new. I'm glad you happened upon this page... this way, you have the opportunity to think about, research, and book a session, hopefully during your maternity stage! My advice is definitely to capture those moments. It's always best to book ASAP to make sure that the photographer that you want has availability to take those beautiful first professional photographs of your sweet little newborn baby!
