After following through with the experience my client was so happy she did. I recently had a mother-to-be (the gorgeous lady pictured above and below) tell me that she did not want her photo taken during her pregnancy because she just didn't feel like she looked good. My advice to her at that moment was, get the photos done and I promise you, you will be happy with the outcome even if only for your new bundle of joy when he asks, "Do you have any pictures of yourself with me in your belly???" You wouldn't think that this question would come up; however, in my experience, both of my children asked me to see what mommy looked like pregnant with them! I unfortunately I did not realize during my own pregnancy that this would come up and I regret it every day! The common misconception of getting your photo taken during pregnancy is that you don't look good. That is DEFINITELY not the case... Especially with my latest client here. (For those of you who are thinking "Well, I'm not as pretty as the momma in these photographs"... Think again! You ARE as pretty! Don't let that Negative Nancy on your shoulder tell you otherwise! It is so very common to feel that you just don't look good because, let's face it, you are just plain worn out with all of the work your body is doing during pregnancy. With all of the extra work you are doing on top of your normal everyday activities, it is easy to say, you just don't feel put together at the moment. It is hard for us to see that from an outside perspective though. You are glowing and gorgeous to those of us who see you. The pregnant belly is one of the most beautiful and fascinating gifts. During this time, you may not feel like it, but you are beautiful. We can all see this from the outside, even though you do not feel it on the inside.After following through with the experience my client was so happy she did.
